Job Description and Responsibilities

The BDE / BDM is primarily responsible for managing the sales and account management functions.
The day to day job responsibilities include:
a) Building sales pipeline in chosen segments.
b) Working on sales opportunities from start to closure.
c) Handling first level solution presentations.
d) Developing relationships in target accounts.
e) Assisting the alliance and channel partners in their sales effort.
f)Ongoing account management of existing clients
g) Ensuring revenue target achievement from the given territory.

  • The BDE is expected to develop business in the given territory as an independent owner, constantly
  • approaching avenues for building new business revenue.
  • The BDE will also work as coordinating point for all internal functions like Pre-sales, Professional
  • services and support team. He/she is expected to drive the internal teams towards the common
  • objective of ensuring revenue and account management goals.
  • Gather and keep track of Competition by Research and market intelligence.
  • BDE is an individual contributor position.
  • The BDE would report to the RSM – Sales
Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile
1. Needs to have 2 - 4 years of overall experience. Should have working experience in    enterprise solution products like CRM, ERP, Core banking or any such high involvement products.
2. Any degree from a university / college of repute. BE / MBA preferable.
3. A verifiable track record in consistent sales target achievement.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to develop and manage relationship at corporate levels.
6. The ability to work independently. Be resourceful and display initiative is required.
