Job Description

Operational tasks
1. Lead the Business Unit by means of managing all operational tasks as well as external and internal relationships (i.e local regulators, external and internal auditors, CST and CS central services/functions)
2. Be conversant with daily business processes and related activities performed by local teams and get involved as defined by a process, i.e. on approver level
3. Provide advice regarding accounting related matters to the team and support further development of Trust Accounting methods and standards as a member of Trust Accounting Committee
4. Seize opportunities and lead transformation / change initiatives for the business unit or part of it
5. Act as escalation contact point in operational and stakeholder related issues, i.e. with central functions, internal clients
6. Regularly challenge the status quo of the operations and contribute to changing & improving existing approaches in close agreement and cooperation with stakeholders
7. Manage towards budget achievement with regards to KPIs, KRIs, costs and FTEs

Leadership tasks
1. Lead multifunctional teams with focus on Trust Accounting and be responsible for the full operations of the teams
2. Run and ensure compliance with the CS(T) HR processes referring to, i.e., performance, talent development, promotions, and compensation
3. Represent the teams towards all local / international stakeholders
4. Manage Employees’, Line Managements & Clients objectives & expectations
5. Ensure all staff members are treated equally and fairly


Desired Candidate Profile

1. Higher Degree in General Management with solid Accounting Background or Chartered accountant with further education in General Management
2. Work Experience
3. Proven track record in managing a large organisation ideally with the financial industry
4. Comprehensive experience in project management (i.e. change-, transformation projects)
5. Working experience of 10 -15 years of which at least 5 years as senior manager

2. Ability to follow a structured problem solving process and ability to implement elaborated solutions
3. Strong project management skills
4. Ability to timely and reliably deliver high quality results
5. High degree of self motivation & willingness to perform
6. Strong analytical & communication skills
7. Very good computer application skills (Excel, Word, Outlook; Microsoft Navision would be an asset)
8. Strong command of English in spoken and written form
