In CIB, the Company carries out its capital markets business, including its origination, sales and trading activities in debt, equity and other securities, as well as its advisory, credit and transaction banking businesses. It is further sub-divided into the Corporate Divisions Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S) and Global Transaction Banking (GTB).

CB&S includes the Business Divisions Markets and Corporate Finance, which globally carry out its securities origination, sales and trading businesses, as well as its mergers and acquisitions advisory and corporate finance businesses. Global Transaction Banking its cash management for corporate and financial institutions, trade finance business, as well as trust and securities services.

Job Description

The Client and Market Development team is respsonsible for performing targeted campaign execution, ‘wallet-sizing’ analysis based on feasibility and quantitative lead generation. The role in this team is expected to closely work with the Issuer Services CMD team on Client pitch-books, Marketing Material to target new business opportunities, Client Analytics, Lead Generation exercises covering all Institutional Cash & Securities Services (ICSS) businesses (i.e Investor services, Institutional Cash and Issuer Services)

1. Sales Lead Generation
a) Conduct research / analytics activities to identify potential deals / leads in Institutional Cash & Securities Services (ICSS)
b) Generate trade ideas of the names under coverage to increase client flow
c) Develop and run a News tracking and deal alerts mechanism

2. Market Intelligence / Strategic Support
a) Market Trends and Drivers analysis focusing on top line (incl. secondary research)
b) Product / Service Gap vs. Peers
c) Research on focus clients on a regular basis to prepare insights and updates for ICSS
d) Wallet Sizing, Fee Pool benchmarking analysis
e) Driving award Submissions for Asset and EMEA Finance

3. Sales & Coverage Analytics
a) Sales pipeline review / analytics
b) Detailed Win Loss Deal analysis incorporating client feedback
c) Identify deal replication opportunities
d) Identify X-Sell opportunities
e) Lead / Tail Client analysis
f) Accelerator / Decelerator analysis

4. Presentation preparation for prospects/bids: Responsible to work with the team in preparing a detailed response for pitching to the client in the presentation format

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Strong analytical skills and ability to transform complex issues into efficient solutions
2. Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access). Excellent Powerpoint Skills is a must
5. 10+ years of relevant experience
