Job Description

1. Ensure that the exotic trades are captured in the system and validated by the team as per the prevailing policies and procedures.
2. Ensure teams KPI & KRI SLAs are met
3. Escalation contact for desk and regional product control and operations teams.
4. Liaising extensively with traders, regional stakeholders, Model Validation Group and quants team for resolving any queries or issues.
5. Ensure strong control environment in the team by implementing strong controls, monitoring effectiveness of processes and by increasing awareness in the team.
6. Identify process improvement areas and lead initiatives to realize benefits.
7. Manage communication with senior management in India
8. Establish, maintain and strengthen effective working relationships with regional stakeholders
9. Engage, motivate and manage a highly talented team of ~10 employees with strong focus on grooming and developing talent
10. Provide leadership and support to the team focusing on prioritization and delivery
11. Front all Internal and External Audits for Fixed Income Products

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Good knowledge and understanding of complex financial products such as Prop Indices, Securitized products, Exotic Rates and Credit products. Good understanding of fundamentals of options and option pricing. Knowledge of Greeks, yield curve, forward rates, discounting etc is required.
2. Good excel skills essential.
3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
4. Strong Leadership and inter-personal skills
5. Strong Communication and multi-tasking skills for complex environment.
6. Ability to take independent decisions, drive results and managing relationship with senior regional stakeholders.
