Job Description

Designation: Area Manager

Position reporting to : Branch Business Head

Team handling : No

Function : Sales & Collections

Product : Secured SME lending / Loan Against Property

Location : Pune

Purpose of Job

*Drive Sales of Secured SME Loans and Loan against Property for area handled within the branch territory keep control on portfolio of his/her territory.

*Handle recovery in case of default on ground .

Responsibility (in details)

1. Channel Management

*Achieve the sales budgets set for the location.

*Build and manage direct and indirect sourcing channels.

*Manage profitability – Productivity, Yield and acquisition cost within the budgeted levels.

*Achieve the budgeted cross sell targets

2. Collections

*Be the owner of Collections for the accounts for the territory handled.

*Handle on-ground collection process.

*Manage delinquency related parameters and ensuring are within triggers for territory handled

3. Performance Management

*Monitor competitor sales strategy and suggest plans to senior management for improvement.

*Monitor – Volumes, Productivity, COA, Yield, Cross Sell penetration, Channel Mix.

*Sanction Rate and Disbursal Rate.

4 Governance and Compliance

*Implement processes as per policy& educate.

*Ensure and check that policies and standards are being implemented at the ground level.

*Ensure that the recommended process of appointment, management and review of the Channel partner is being followed .

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge & Skills Required :

*Should be well versed with Secured Lending products.

*Have worked with SMEs and in depth knowledge of different kind of Machinery.

*Should have knowledge about local market.

*Knowledge of Manufacturing industries /Machineries would be preferred.
